Gracia Orlová 2026: 161 riders at the start of the international women’s race

The 38th edition of the international women’s stage race Gracia Orlová has officially started in Orlová. A total of 161 riders from 26 teams are competing across five stages in the Moravian-Silesian and Zlín regions, with a strong presence of Czech teams and riders.

Gracia Orlová 2026 starts in Orlová

Orlová (Czech Republic) – The 38th edition of the international women’s cycling race Gracia Orlová started on Wednesday, April 30, in the city of Orlová. The first stage began at 13:00 in front of the city hall and heads towards Štramberk.

This year’s race features 161 riders from 26 teams, confirming the event’s strong international participation. Gracia Orlová is part of the UCI Women’s Road Calendar and regularly attracts teams from across Europe and beyond.

Czech teams and riders in the spotlight

The race also highlights a strong Czech presence, with domestic teams and riders competing alongside international squads.

Among the participating teams are:

  • Dukla Praha
  • LKT Team
  • VIF Cycling Team
  • Team Morava MIX

Czech riders are also part of several international teams, giving local fans a chance to follow their favourites throughout the race. The international line-up also includes teams from outside Europe, such as the Chinese squad XDS Astana Team, highlighting the global reach of the race.

Five stages across the region

The race runs from April 30 to May 3 and includes a mix of terrains testing riders’ versatility.

Race schedule:

  • Stage 1 (Apr 30): Orlová – Štramberk (98.9 km)
  • Stage 2 (May 1): Třinec – Pustevny (115.7 km)
  • Stage 3 (May 2): Havířov – individual time trial (13.5 km)
  • Stage 4 (May 2): Bohumín – circuit race (96 km)
  • Stage 5 (May 3): Orlová – final circuits (101.6 km)

The race traditionally finishes in Orlová.

Junior race for children

The event also includes the Gracia Orlová Junior race for children, taking place on Sunday. Young riders aged 3 to 12 can take part and experience the atmosphere of a professional cycling event.
